ADDRESS CHANGES:
Please inform the daycare of any change of address, telephone or cell phone number, so we can reach you anytime in an emergency, school or daycare closure.
ATTENDANCE:
The daycare technician takes attendance every day. Parents must sign out before taking their child out of daycare. This is obligatory for safety reasons. There is no possibility to pick up a child at the office instead of Daycare; you will have to wait until the last bus leaves the school and then you may pick up your child from daycare.
LATE PICK-UP:
After 18h00, a late fee will be charged at the rate of $1.00 for every minute late. This fee will be added to the monthly bill charged to parents, and the parent will be requested to sign a late slip confirming the date and time of pick-up.
COMPLAINTS AND COMMENTS:
Should you have complaints, concerns or comments, please do not hesitate to contact the daycare technician or the principal.
EMERGENCY CLOSURES:
Should the school or daycare close during the day due to an emergency situation, parents will be contacted immediately, in order to pick up their children as soon as possible.
Should the school close because of inclement weather, it is the parents' r esponsibility to consult the school board web site (www.swlauriersb.qc.ca) as the predominant source of information.
HOMEWORK:
There will be a homework period every day after school. Daycare educators will assist the students. However, homework completion, follow-up and agenda signatures remain the responsibility of the parents.
